Czech glass MiniDuo beads are the smaller version of the SuperDuo beads. They are identical in shape to SuperDuos but 25% smaller. MiniDuo Beads feature the same innovative pinched oval shape with two stringing holes, providing you with endless design options. The profile of the MiniDuo is much like an inverted hourglass, tapering at the ends and widening in the middle--creating a "honeycombed" or diamond pattern when stacked together. MiniDuos, manufactured by Matubo, are compatible with all beads from the CzechMates line. Their large hole size to bead size ratio makes them ideal for consistent bead weaving texture and multiple passes of fine beading thread such as Fireline, Power Pro, KO Thread and Nymo.
Some coated MiniDuo seed beads may have one or both holes blocked by their finish. This is unfortunately unavoidable due to the nature of the manufacturer's coating process. We recommend checking your MiniDuo seed beads before beginning a project and discarding any seed beads with blocked holes.
